CAUTION: Woman In Progress

Today's 1.25 mile walk. 

Well, I ate a cupcake. Libs was just wishful thinking. ;-)

Me, after having had lunch with my friends and their kids. 

Libs and I had to make a Happy Birthday video for Nana's 61st birthday today. She ended the video with this, except she was smiling. Not sure what this look here, says, except, "Are we done now?" Girl is toooooo  funny. ;-)     I wish I could figure out how to post the video here but other than putting it on YouTube (which I don't want to do) I'm not sure how to do it. :-/ Girl loves her Nana, though. We texted the video to her first thing this morning and I'm pretty sure it made her whole entire day. haha   In other news: Have a GREAT weekend, ya'll! I'll be kicking mine off with a trip to the local diner for fried catfish with the parental unit for the birthday girl.

The sky was full of fluffy wonder. My how awesome an artist God is. 

Really not loving the loggers. Blocking the road, making a mess and polluting the neighborhood with their noise. 

If it weren't so hot, I'd have enjoyed it more. 

After a little rain shower this morning, the day turned awesome so Libs and I cashed in on it and took a walk. 1.30 miles, baby! 

She wanted my ice cream. Too bad for her that it was chocolate. ;-)

I was a terrible friend today. I snuck off on my own for a chicken biscuit and coffee because I really wanted to finish reading a book I bought yesterday and also because I needed some quiet alone time without anyone filling my head with their problems. I'm pretty sure they'll be pissed if they find out somehow. But. That's okay too. 

Staff development conference on campus today. I totally learned why nobody ever really listens to me. It's not because they don't care what I have to say. They're just assholes and don't realize it!  

It wasn't even a mile but it almost killed me. Sure was pretty, though. 

I hosted lunch again this year. Yummy BBQ and fun with the family. Life is pretty good. 

Every Saturday, like clockwork. In and out in an hour. 

Even the chairs in the library are celebrating the end of finals. Apparently. 

Apparently we archive everything up in here... :-D

Milo! My baby brother. :-)  He stinks but he's sure sweet.
