Ten Things That Make Me Happy Today
1.) Chuck. Chuck makes me very happy. I'm still flying high from the time I spent with him last night. Seriously, it's like the second Zachary Levi walks on screen and gives that trademark smile my heart goes all gooey in my chest and my lips curve up all dreamy smile-ish and for that one hour each Monday night I'm on cloud nine. Pitiful, no?
2.) Her.
3.) My friends. All of 'em. Ms. B who I only get to see once a month and chat on the phone every few weeks. E who talks me into field trips to Starbucks so that we can blame each other for being bad. Trix who hated the way Medium ended, too. (And always sends me the awesomest handmade cards.) BFF who calls once a month to update me on the ever shifting drama of her life. (She's doing much better, by the way. Goes back to work next week.) Jen who once--in a round about way--compared me to the awesome Pioneer Woman. (And who's love story to her fireman still gives me hope that true love really does exist.) The Drifters girls who never fail to inspire and encourage me and who for YEARS put up with my sporadic writing just because they couldn't get enough Blake. (Alas, I no longer write Blake or Drifters. Sad. *sobs eyes out*) Pet who once gave me the best pep talk I've ever had and to this day I still remember nearly every word. (And still have the email it came in!) Aunt B who loves me even though I am eternally bad at downsizing my girth. DonnaH who is a total superwoman. L and A who make break time fun and aren't shy about telling me when I'm lame. D and DD who make the office a not terrible place to be. My sisters. My mother. My dad. My kids. Life is so much richer for the people who I've be blessed enough to call friends.
4.) Chocolate. The world is definitely sweeter with it.
5.) Books. What would I do without alternate worlds to get lost in?
6.) Email. Because they help me to avoid phones.
7.) Blogs. What did I do before I knew they existed? My nosy nature has never been more satisfied. hehehe (Also digging my new template. Much more cheerful, yeah?)
8.) My church home. Even though things are still a bit rocky for me there, it's nice to have a church I can go to and be allowed to grow spiritually at my own pace.
9.) Music. Singing it, listening to it, humming it. It's all good. Keeps my soul from sagging.
10.) Insertable insoles for shoes. My feet have never felt so comfy.
2.) Her.
'Nuff said.

And yes, true love does exist!
I like the new blog look. Nice and springy. The bonus is that it no longer stalls on me when I try to scroll. And you know, I changed something on mine almost two months ago now and noone noticed. Something they see every day, too. Hmmm...
Heather~I'm I that crabby usually? lol
And yes! I did notice the new profile pic on your blog. I'm just lame enough that by the time I finish reading your entries I forget to mention it! It's a great pic, btw!
Aunt B~I try to always check my comments because ya'll mean so much to me. Sometimes I get distracted and don't get a chance to comment back but know that I do always appreciate them and the lovely folks who leave them. :)
No I know I'm a big bundle of grump most days. I'm gonna work on that. ;-)
Your sweatshirt is some obscure minor league baseball team, right? *blinks innocently*
